Tailoring

Hand cut, traditionally made suits

Step 1 – We require a minimum of 3 visits. We will advise on choice of cloth, discuss style and take measurements. Depending on the time of year and your availability, your suit will be completed within 8-12 weeks. Bespoke clothing is made to last and looked after properly should last a lifetime. With over 35 years experience, Richard is a master tailor.

Step 2 – A handmade wool canvas is stitched together and basted to the foreparts of the jacket. Sleeves and collar are basted in place. The ‘try-on’ is fitted to the Client and then completely disassembled and then re-cut according to the alteration required.

Step 3 – Main construction is complete, previous amendments made. Certain alterations can still be implemented if required.

Step 4 – Final alterations are complete, button holes, buttons and final pressing have been finalised, suit is ready for collection.
